Yan is a fourth-year CS theory Ph.D. student at Johns hopkins University, fortunate to be advised by Prof. Xin Li.
She is broadly interested in theoretical computer science (TCS) with a focus on Complexity theory and Pseudorandomness.
Previously, she was an undergraduate studying CS and Math at University of Hong Kong, where she was lucky to have received guidance from and worked with (chronologically) Prof. Giulio Chiribella, Prof. Zhiyi Huang, and Prof. Shachar Lovett.
